Itinerary

Day 1
Kochi Arrival – Drive to Guruvayur

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will drive to Guruvayur, which takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
After reaching Guruvayur, check in to your hotel and visit the famous Guruvayur Temple for darshan.
If time permits, you can also visit the Punnathur Kotta Elephant Sanctuary nearby
Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 2
Guruvayur – Athirapilly Sightseeing – Drive to Munnar

In the early morning, you can revisit the Guruvayur Temple for another darshan if desired.
After breakfast, proceed to Athirapilly, a drive of around 3 hours.
Visit the scenic Athirapilly and Vazhachal waterfalls.
After sightseeing, continue your journey to Munnar, which will take about 4.5 to 5 hours.
Enjoy the scenic hill drive through the Western Ghats and reach Munnar by evening.

Day 3
Munnar Full-Day Sightseeing

Today, explore the best of Munnar
Begin with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, home to the Nilgiri Tahr.
Then visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake.
. In the afternoon, explore the Tea Museum and visit local spice gardens or Photo Point.
You may also enjoy some shopping or an Ayurvedic massage in town.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4
Munnar – Drive to Thekkady

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a journey of approximately 3.5 to 4 hours through scenic tea and spice plantations.
s. Upon arrival, enjoy activities like Jeep Safari, Elephant ride, a boating on Periyar Lake within the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary(all activities own cost).
You can also take a spice plantation tour and attend a cultural performance such as a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu martial arts demonstration in the evening.

Day 5
Thekkady – Drive to Varkala

After breakfast, begin your drive to Varkala, which will take around 6 hours.
On arrival, check in to hotel/resort.
Spend your evening relaxing at Papanasam Beach or walking along the famous Varkala Cliff.
You may also visit the Janardhana Swamy Temple if time allows.

Day 6
Varkala – Drive to Alleppey and Houseboat Stay

After a relaxing morning by the cliff or beach in Varkala, you will drive to Alleppey, approximately 3.5 to 4 hours away.
Upon arrival, you will board a traditional Kerala houseboat, locally known as a kettuvallam.
This charming, handcrafted boat is your floating retreat for the night, gliding gently through the tranquil backwaters.
The houseboat is equipped with comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living area, and an open deck perfect for watching stunning sunsets.
. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala cuisine served onboard, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients, making this an unforgettable, immersive experience in nature.

Day 7
Alleppey – Kochi Sightseeing – Drop

After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat by 9:00 AM and drive to Kochi, which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Enjoy sightseeing in Kochi, including attractions such as Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), St. Francis Church, and Jew Town.
After sightseeing, you will be dropped off at Cochin International Airport/Ernakulam Railway station for your onward journey.
